                                                   Stress Eraser Exercise.

This is a simple and amazingly effective Guided Imagination (AKA, Visualization, Focused Trance or….
you guessed it…Self-hypnosis) technique that works wonders in no time at all.

You can completely eliminate stress from your thoughts, and along with the stress, you can toss out any
anxiety, poor self image, anger, jealousy, depression, and any and all other destructive internal
disturbances.

Try it. You will be amazed at how much better you feel.

Stretch out, get comfortable, turn off the phones and put all potential distraction on hold. Don’t worry
about why this works…just do it.

Close your eyes.

Imagine that, right on the very top of your head, there is a valve... a faucet… something like the one that
hangs on the side of a house for attaching a hose.

To the end of YOUR faucet, attach large strong empty transparent balloon. Open the valve, and take a
deep breath.

As you suck in air, breathe in through the bottom of your feet.  Imagine that your lungs are a vacuum
pulling new clean energy through the bottom of your feet.

And, as that clean energy fills your feet, it pushes anything negative…everything
negative…upward…and as you exhale, push all that negative stuff out the top of your head and into the
balloon.

Keep pulling in clean stuff and pushing out dark stuff, working your way up through your body, until all
the negative stuff (no need to worry what it is) that used to be inside you is inside the balloon…which is
now big and black.

When you’ve emptied it all out, seal the balloon with the tie that’s attached to it, pull it loose, and let it
float up and up….toward the sun…where, in no time at all, it is totally incinerated by the sun’s fire. Tuck
your valve away in case  you need it again…stretch... and feel how good you feel.

Great, huh?

This works because your unconscious encodes all ideas in symbols, stories and metaphors. By providing
a metaphor for it, you are speaking the language of your unconscious; your inner self understands
exactly what you want done. . It conscientiously releases those “bad feelings” just as you instructed…

(But, if you start to collect them and save them again, it will make your heart and mind feel bad, just as
you are instructing it to do.)

Some people like to highlight these exercises, click file...print...print selection, and keep them where
they can find them easily on a bad day.

Be careful what you say to yourself...
