You pull up to your house, turn off the car, and, suddenly you can't remember driving home. “Oh, geez," you
wonder half in panic, "Did I stop at all... or any…of the traffic lights?”
Welcome to trance. Welcome to hypnosis. You just experienced a form of road hypnosis. You were so "lost
in thought" that you don't remember what you did. You were solving problems in your mind while your
subconscious was doing what it believed you wanted done.
Everybody does it. But, like singing, few people do it well. Many people actually create more problems than
solutions in their trance states.
Can you think of someone who worries about doing everything right? Someone who panics every time s/he
is faced with a new or slightly different situation? Someone who keeps saying, “I just know something is
going to go wrong. It always does.”
Have you noticed how their predictions are usually "right on"? Something almost always DOES go wrong,
doesn't it?
Well, they asked for it, so they got it. The subconscious mind works very hard to meet our expectations.
That’s why, when you have an important performance (and everybody does) coming up, you need a trained
professional hypnotherapist to guide your mind into your best success mode.
What’s an important performance? Well, it could be an actual singing performance, but it could also be a
tennis match with your boss, a job interview, a sales presentation, a real estate exam, meeting your date’s
adult children, or teaching a training session at work. I wonder how many more examples can pop into
your mind.
Anytime you want to do anything better, hypnosis can improve your performance. Fast! If you want to get
up half an hour earlier to work out, forget to notice the cookies at work, or reach for water instead of a
soda…dozens of “hypno-tees” can tell you how easy it is.
Anything you can do, you can probably do better. Let's face it, very few of us ever do our absolute best. And
yet, think of all the people who seem to be able to do only one thing REALLY well. Whether you think of
Stephen King, Oprah, Albert Einstein, Johnny Cash, Mark Twain, Mary Lou Retton...it gets pretty obvious
pretty fast that it PAYS to get extremely good at whatever you are good at, doesn't it?
And every great performance begins in the mind. That's why Olympic contenders, great performers, and
entertainers of all kinds spend as much time "getting the mind right" as practicing their skills. Many of them
consult hypnotists as well as practice self-hypnosis. It's the easiest and fastest way to do ANYTHING better.
Now, If you can’t play the trombone, no amount of hypnosis will improve your performance. But if you can
talk to two people, hypnosis can help you speak to ten. Or a full auditorium.
Do you want to be more motivated? More relaxed? More confident? Can you imagine what you will feel like
when you realize that you just finished something wonderful? Not only did you do your best at something
you thought you couldn’t do…but, you even ended up loving it! How great is that?
You may be surprised at how quickly what used to be your rare "best" becomes your ordinary, everyday,
do-it-every-time performance.
Self Hypnosis is one way to get the results you want…(sign up for a free course here) or, it’s faster to call
for an appointment. (717) 509-5550.
