"Change
by
hypnosis"

An astounding number of competent intelligent people stay stuck in jobs that challenge nothing but
their ability to endure stress and boredom. Sometimes these same people are also found among the
many attractive pleasant people who cater to relationship partners so obviously toxic that even
strangers notice and take a step back. And, you only have to step into any public place to notice many
otherwise rational humans continue to stuff their bodies with calories that are killing them despite
knowing exactly what is happening and what is causing it.

Self-sabotage?

Maybe. Sometimes, certainly. But often what’s standing between these people and success is terror of
change.

These people KNOW what they are doing to themselves. Given the smallest opportunity, they will
usually insist passionately that they WANT to change the situation. Then, without even taking a
breath, they begin spouting a panicked litany of reasons why they can’t.

Terror of change can seem like is the flip side of Unrealistic Expectations, and sometimes it is. More
frequently, it is actually another form of Unrealistic Expectations. Some terrified child part of you
expects EVERYTHING familiar and comfortable to disappear when you make a change, and that sends
you running anxiously to embrace the stuff you think you hate.

Your usual way of thinking and behaving is the result of a deeply entrenched mind rut. It’s safe. You
know exactly what to expect.

As irritable as they make you, you have adapted to grumpy George and sickly Sue in your department
at work. You know your spouse will get nasty after the third drink on Friday night and will spend
most of Sunday watching sports, but you also know where he is and who he is with, and he goes to
work at a decent job most days.

There are no surprises. Even the familiar anxiety is … well… familiar.

Changing jobs would mean more than just a different set of tasks to perform. It would also mean a
whole new set of people, and you might have to drive farther, and it would be weeks before you
knew where everything was and who to call if something broke and… You would be on PROBATION!
Everyone would be WATCHING you!

How could you bear to face the world if it didn’t work out?

And, as for your spouse…well, what if you got a divorce and no one else wanted you and you couldn’t
afford somewhere decent to live and… (People can get quite catastrophic in creating reasons to
justify staying stuck in a familiar swamp.)

The source of this kind of terror change usually lies somewhere in early childhood. Well-meaning
parents (or possibly angry or frightened parents) dramatically convinced your child mind that
messing with the status quo was extremely painful.

Under the right circumstances, one experience is all it takes to create a pattern for a lifetime. It
becomes locked into your emotions and it has nothing to do with what’s reasonable or logical.

And, how could you possibly make the changes you need to make to be a success at ANYTHING if you
are terrified of change?

When you are regressed to the source of the fear under hypnosis… when the memory of the situation
is brought up to conscious level, most people resolve their fears of change pretty rapidly. Astounding
things can happen as the result of just a session or two.

Hypnotherapy works, but it’s not for everyone. It’s a fabulous tool for intelligent, imaginative,
motivated people who truly want to eliminate their problems. People who want to believe they can
eat all they want and still lose weight should stick to buying lottery tickets.

Hypnosis is not the only way to change your mind to change your life, but it is the fast, effective,
natural, and drug free.

THE CHANGE PROCESS CD has helped some people make changes, and it’s available for $29.95. Click
